As you can see, most people who ask questions about magic seem to be stuck on lasting impressions made by magic in the 1980′s; If you think about how much other art forms have moved forward since the 1980′s such as music or film then it is reasonable to assume that magic has also. It is hard for magicians to move away from the cheesy perceptions of old but with perverts like Blaine and Derren it has started to happen.
