I have just returned from performing close-up magic at a private party in Essex. It was a very loud environment so I mainly performed visual sleight-of-hand instead of any psychological magic which relies on communication between myself and the spectator. On the drive to the show this evening I think I managed to count over 3 million England flags on cars alone; The car-flag ratio shoots up dramatically as soon as you enter Essex (just a warning for anyone with a fear of flags).
